As a fashion stylist myself, working on shoots internationally, one of the things I do when preparing for a shoot is look through my hundreds of lookbooks I get sent from showrooms and brands. But sometimes after hours of sifting through them I realize the brand I am looking at is actually based too far from where I am shooting and will kill my shipping budget. It can be frustrating especially once you have your heart set on a piece. So, I decided to catalogue some of my favorite emerging designers you should know and categorized them by country for easy reference. If you are shooting in Paris and want to avoid shipping, check out the brands listed in Paris. Shooting in London? Then just browse London. This was created by a stylist for stylists with stylists' needs in mind.

L'Armoire Du Styliste was founded in 2006 by Beagy Zielinski in Manhattan, it was a clothing rental atelier for stylists and carried exclusive avant-garde brands from EU, giving stylists in New York access to brands that would otherwise cost a fortune to ship. LDS worked with some of the top talent in the business to supply their celebrity & editorial clients like Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Madonna & V Mag... with avant-garde pieces for music videos, red carpet appearances and editorials internationally.

In 2013 the rental atelier was closed and Beagy moved back to Europe. Now in 2021, after working for several years throughout Europe on everything from TV commercials to celebrity and E-commerce shoots Beagy is bringing LDS back to life, in Europe and using all that she has learned in her 17 years in the fashion industry to make LDS 2.0 an even better space for stylists and editors to gain inspiration and discover new talent.

Stay tuned, LDS's service offerings will expand as we grow...So much more to come.
